Aloha Hula Studio

Donna Terry, director and choreographer for the Aloha Islanders, is also the owner & instructor at Aloha Hula Studio in Rancho Cucamonga. As of October 2008, Aloha Hula Studio is now located in Rancho Cucamonga, after 4 years in Upland. Donna has been teaching Hawaiian dance in the Rancho Cucamonga area for over 20 years, and prior to that instructed at Fairgrove Dance Studio and Shirley & Donna's Studio in La Puente, CA with her mom.

Learn hand motions, body movement and foot steps associated with graceful Hawaiian dancing. Start with some of the most popular hulas and progress to implements, chants, Tahitian and other Polynesian dances. Classes offered for girls ages 5 and up including teens and ladies. Hula is fun and benefits include exercise and flexibility. It's never to late to start learning to dance the hula.

Classes are scheduled every weekday afternoon and evening. On Wednesdays Donna teaches for the City of Rancho Cucamonga. Lessons are held at Aloha Hula Studio. New sessions start every three months. Classes are reasonably priced and twice a year the session ends with a luau performance.
